About the presenter:
Dr. Jackson has published many articles on esthetic adhesive dentistry and has lectured extensively across the United States and abroad. He has presented at all of the major U.S. scientific conferences and has been a featured speaker at the annual meeting of all three American organizations for esthetic/cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Jackson is a Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, teaches regularly at the Nash Institute for Advanced Dental Learning and is Director of the Posterior Aesthetics and Anterior Direct Resin programs at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He serves on the editorial boards of the three dental publications and is a consultant to a number of dental manufacturers in the area of new product development and clinical testing of materials. Dr Jackson maintains a private practice in Middleburg, Virgina emphasizing comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

The public today want their dentistry less invasive and more aesthetic. Direct composite resin does both and its use in dentistry is rising rapidly. However, these materials have undergone significant evolution in recent years and dentists are challenged to keep current. In addition, esthetic standards have been raised and quality outcomes redefined by todays educated patient. This presentation will focus on understanding the new composite materials specifically developed for anterior and posterior use and illustrate the key elements for their successful application.
