About the presenter:
Dr Christopher Ho graduated in Dentistry with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney and completed postgraduate studies in the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Implants.
Dr Ho is a regularly invited lecturer on aesthetic and implant dentistry internationally, including being keynote speaker and performing live presentations for several world conferences. He is the recipient of several scholarships for research and has received numerous prizes for clinical and academic excellence.
He has been trained in multiple implant systems, including the Branemark and Replace systems. His postgraduate implant education has been through the University of Sydney, where he received his postgraduate diploma and he has attended courses at the UCLA College of Dentistry. He is involved with all aspects of implant treatment and performs both surgical and prosthodontic phases of treatment.
At the forefront of the latest developments he is involved with evaluation and trials of new dental products and materials for a range of prominent manufacturers.
Dr Ho maintains a successful private practice centered on comprehensive aesthetic and implant dentistry in Sydney, Australia.

This lecture covers the various principles and procedures of accurate impression taking. The requirements of impression materials will be discussed and recommendations made as to the most reliable materials to use along with directions on the use of custom vs. stock trays.Different impression techniques will be discussed with a step by step discussion highlighted with videos of the different procedures. Demonstration of capturing developed soft tissue profiles around implants will be shown, and explanation of the passive fit around multiple unit fixed prostheses covered.
