This lecture presents evidence from the literature supporting the use of particulated bone grafts and titanium reinforced Gore-Tex membranes for predictable vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation. A step-by-step clinical demonstration of the necessary elements to improve the successrate with this very powerful regeneration procedure. Diagnosis, indications, medications, flap design, bone harvesting site, membrane management and fixation and soft tissue release and suturing will be discussed in detail. Possible complications and their treatment are presented.
