During the first 4 days of the Master Program the important aspects of bone and implant management will be discussed and highlighted. Day 1 will be covering all critical steps in osseointegration and implant site management and Day 2 will focus on bone management during hands-on workshops and live surgery Day 3 will present the restorative approach amongst disciplines involved in osseointegration
Day 4 will focus on edentulous restorations and cad-cam.

Full day session: Interactive lecture presentation with focus on 'Osseointegration, Bone management, Extraction sites and Implant Placement'

Day 2 – Dr. Jovanovic, Dr. Dunn
Morning session: Live surgery implant placement demonstration on 2 patients

Afternoon
session: Hands-on workshop on pig jaw ‘Bone management and Implant Placement’ instructed by Faculty and performed by class students

Day 3 - Dr. Henry
Full day session: Interactive lecture presentation with focus on Restorative Aspects of Implant Dentistry

Day 4 - Dr. Henry
Full day session with hands-on training. Restorative considerations in Implant Dentistry to include fully edentulous restorations, cad-cam technology and applications.

During Day 5 to 8 of Session II all aspects of soft tissue management in implant dentistry will be discussed. The Live Surgery demonstration on Day 7 will focus on the details of this topic and the hands-on workshop on Day 6 will highlight these procedures performed by the class students.

During Day 9 to 12 of Session III all aspects of advanced implant procedures, team approach and complications in implant dentistry will be discussed. The Live Surgery demonstration on Day 12 will focus on the details of this topic and the hands-on workshop on Day 10 will highlight these procedures performed by the class students.

Morning session: Lecture on perio-prosthetic considerations for single and partial teeth and for edentulous jaw.

Morning session: Lecture topic: Advanced Implant Prosthodontics

Afternoon session: Continuation of topic

Day 12 -
Morning session: Hands-on workshop: Bone and connective tissue harvest, implant placement with TR-membrane; ridge augmentation

Session IV
Los Angeles, California at UCLA School of Dentistry

Live Surgery and Implant Advances and New Technologies in Radiology, Periodontics, Pharmacology, Oral Surgery and Oral Biology

During the final 5 days (Day 12 to 16) of the Master Program new Research Advances in Implant Dentistry will be presented by the course director and the UCLA faculty. Implant patient treatments with different treatment plans will be presented throughout the week. Final exam and selected case presentations by class students will conclude the 1-year Master Program with plaque ceremony.
